Hey, I’m Josie! The photographer, videographer and creative behind Josie Perrett Creative.

 

I’m based near Gunnedah, NSW but spend most of my time on the road (or in a paddock somewhere) chasing good light and great moments. Photography started for me while I was still in school. You’d usually find me at sunset, following my horses around for hours, camera in hand, trying to capture every angle and that one perfect shot. What started as a hobby laid the foundation for everything I do today.

 

From there, the business grew and so did the opportunities. I’ve since had the chance to shoot across multiple states in Australia and internationally in the USA. These days, it’s more than just a passion project. It’s a full time, thriving business that I’m incredibly proud of.

 

Most weeks you’ll find me covering campdrafts, rodeos, reined cow horse events and sale horses, capturing the fast paced action, the fine details, and the real connections that make the equine industry so special. Alongside equine work, I also photograph and film weddings, and work with brands to create clean, intentional photo, video and social media content. My goal and passion is to capture the story, whether that’s in an arena, on a wedding day, or behind the scenes of a business.
